+Check-in starts at 4:00 PM local time.

+Check-out is promptly at 10:00 AM local time.

Can I check-in at an earlier time?
+If you arrive at the resort at an earlier time and your assigned room is available, then we will be more than happy to check you in early.

Can I request a late check-out time?
+You can call the front desk to request a later check out time on the day of your departure. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on resort occupancy.

How old do you have to be to check-in?
+The minimum age for check-in is 21.

Is my ID/passport required at check-in?
+A picture ID, a valid major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) or cash for a $100 security deposit. Security deposits are released on your check-out day. We also recommend that you bring your confirmation/hotel voucher.
Please note that should you use a debit (check) card for your deposit, a hold of $100 will be placed against your checking account and you will not have access to those funds until your bank releases the hold, which may take up to 14 business days. -
What are the hours of the front desk?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Please call the resort to notify the staff of any late arrivals.

What is the size of this resort?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg features 78 buildings with a total of 303 units. All buildings have two floors and there are no elevators.

Is there a fee for parking?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg offers free parking for guests and security is provided throughout the property between the hours of 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily. You will be asked to provide your license plate number and vehicle description.

Can I park my RV at the resort?
+Parking of recreational vehicles/equipment is not permitted. Please contact the resort for recommendations on available/approved parking.

Are there any extra fees associated with the reservation?
+There is a $30.00 Resort Fee collected at the time of check-in (one fee per reservation). It includes Wi-Fi, access to the fitness center, business center & DVD library, coffee or tea in the clubhouse, and use of in-room safes.

Do you offer free Wi-Fi?
+Wi-Fi is included in the Resort Fee.

Can I request a building or view for the unit I want?
+Special requests (room views, floor level, unit location, etc.) are accepted two weeks prior to arrival. Accommodations are based on a first-come, first-served basis. Vacation Village at Williamsburg will make every effort to honor all special requests based on availability.

Can I upgrade my two-bedroom unit to a four-bedroom unit?
+Yes. If there is availability, you may upgrade your two-bedroom to a four-bedroom or upgrade a partial kitchen unit to a full kitchen unit. Extra charges may apply.

Can I request a handicap accessible unit for my stay?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg has designated suites that meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Please advise the staff of your needs when making reservations so that we can provide you with the best service.

Are extra beds or cribs available for small children?
+Rollaway beds, cribs and highchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests must request these items at check-in as they are not able to be reserved in advance. Charges may apply.

Is there daily housekeeping?
+Housekeeping services are not included. Guests are asked to dispose of trash in several conveniently located sites on property. Mid-week cleaning is available upon request for an extra charge. A mid-week cleaning includes beds being made with fresh linens, removal of trash and replacement of liners, exchange of all bath and kitchen linens, and vacuuming. Unit towel or linen exchange may also be arranged for a fee. Please contact the front desk directly if you would like this service. A $75.00 fine is applicable for units left excessively unclean.

Is smoking permitted at the resort?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg does not provide guests with specific designated smoking areas. Guests and owners are prohibited from smoking inside the resort and inside the rooms. Smoking outside is permitted.

Can I send packages to the resort?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg will accept package deliveries free of charge for our guests. Packages must include the registered guest’s name and proof of identification is required for pick-up.

Is this resort pet-friendly?
+At Vacation Village at Williamsburg, we understand that pets are an extension of your family, and we are one of very few resorts that offer a limited number of pet-friendly units, which are in a particular area of the resort near the walking areas. A non-refundable pet fee of $125.00 per pet (limit of two pets) is due at check-in and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Only non-aggressive breeds are allowed on resort premises and there is a maximum of two pets. YOU MUST CALL IN ADVANCE TO RESERVE PET-FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATIONS. +Richmond International Airport (RIC) is approximately 45 minutes away from Vacation Village at Williamsburg.

Does the resort offer shuttle service from the airport to the resort?
+No. We do not offer shuttle transportation to/from the airport. Taking a taxi is suggested and our resort is serviced by various taxi companies.

How far is Busch Gardens Williamsburg from the resort?
+Busch Gardens Williamsburg is approximately 25 minutes away from Vacation Village at Williamsburg.

Does the resort offer shuttle service to Busch Gardens Williamsburg?
+No. There is no shuttle service transportation available to Busch Gardens Williamsburg or other area attractions.
Suite Amenities

Do the suites have carpet or tile?
+Both. Living areas and bedrooms have carpet and the kitchen and baths are tiled.

Do you have adjoining rooms?
+Our four-bedroom suites are the only adjoining rooms we have on property. They are designed for maximum comfort with kitchen, living room and dining room areas in each suite, which are integrated for entertaining and enjoyment.

How are the kitchens equipped?
+A Suites feature fully-appointed kitchens equipped with stove/oven, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator with ice maker, microwave convection oven, drip coffee maker (a starter pack of filters are provided), and toaster. B Suites feature partial kitchens, which consist of many of the same amenities as A Suites except for a stove/oven and, in only a few units, a dishwasher. B Suites have a two-burner hot plate for cooking.

What type of cookware and dinnerware are in the kitchens?
+Most commonly used cookware is included in each suite and dinnerware for up to six.

What kind of entertainment electronics does each unit have?
+Each unit features televisions in the living rooms and bedrooms, a DVD player in the living room, and cable television with HBO. Additionally, all suites have in-room fireplaces. Gas, wood-burning, or electric depend on unit assignment.

Do all the suites have a king-size bed?
+Two-bedroom suites feature one king-size bed, one queen-size bed, and a queen pull-out sleeper sofa. Most four-bedroom suites feature two king-size beds, either two queen-size beds or four twin-size beds, and two queen pull-out sleeper sofas.

What’s in the bathroom?
+All master bathrooms feature jetted tubs and showers. All bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer.

Does the resort provide toiletries like shampoo and body wash?
+Yes. Each unit is provisioned with conditioning shampoo, body lotion, body soap and facial soap.

Is there a washer and dryer in all the suites?
+All guests have laundry facilities available to them. Most A & B units share one washer/dryer. In most cases, the washer/dryer is located at the top of the stairs. In a small portion of the units, the washer/dryer is in the hallway between A & B units.

Do the rooms have an iron?
+Each suite has an ironing board with iron located in the utility closet near the kitchen.

Do all suites have an outdoor patio or balcony?
+Yes. All suites have a furnished patio or balcony.

Are there any other suite amenities?
+Yes. All suites have in-room fireplaces. Gas, wood-burning, or electric depend on unit assignment.
Outside Amenities

Is there a swimming pool at the resort?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg has one heated indoor swimming pool and one outdoor swimming pool that is open seasonally from May through September, weather permitting. Pool towels are available poolside.

Are there any children’s pools?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg has one outdoor children’s pool located behind the registration building. The pool is open from 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM.

What are the pool hours and where are they located?
+Both the indoor and outdoor pools are open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Adults-only swimming is from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Both pools are located behind the main registration building.

Are there hot tubs at the resort?
+Yes. There is one indoor hot tub adjacent to the indoor pool.

Are there any planned and organized activities available on-site?
+Yes. We offer weekly planned activities for all ages. A schedule is provided at the time of check-in.

Is there a fitness center?
+Yes. Vacation Village at Williamsburg has a well-appointed fitness center located in the registration building.

What are the hours for the fitness center?
+The center is open from 5:00 AM to 10:30 PM.

Are there computers available for use at the resort?
+Yes. For your convenience, a business center equipped with computers and a printer is in the registration building in the back lobby.

Are there barbeque grills available?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg has multiple charcoal barbeque grills throughout the property along with picnic tables. The grills are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Gas barbeque grills are located in the outdoor pool area.

Are restaurant facilities available on site?
+There are no restaurants on site at the resort. Throughout the busy travel season, you will find food vendors serving poolside along with frequent hot dog cookouts and daily smoothies. There are several independent restaurants located within a very short drive of the resort on Richmond Road, the main thoroughfare of Williamsburg, where you will find an abundance of chain and independent restaurants.

What other amenities does Vacation Village at Williamsburg have?
+In addition to our indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center and business center, we also have a children’s playground, game room, two pickleball courts, three tennis courts, a volleyball court, basketball court, horseshoe pit, snack/sundry shop and onsite spa. Vending machines are conveniently located in the back lobby of the registration building.
