General Information & Special Requests

What time are check-in and check-out?
+The check-in time is 4:00 PM local time, and check-out is promptly at 10:00 AM. The front desk is inside the clubhouse at 4870 Longhill Road, Williamsburg, VA, 23188.
Before you depart, we kindly request that you take a few minutes to:
- Place TV remote controls with the TV.
- Leave all soiled linens and towels in the bathroom.
- Start the dishwasher.
Vacation Village at Williamsburg is not responsible for any items left behind.

What are the front desk hours for Vacation Village at Williamsburg?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please call the resort at 757.253.9100 to notify the front desk staff of late arrivals. In addition, there is overnight resort security throughout the property between the hours of 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily.

Is early check-in or late check-out available?
+Yes. If you arrive at Vacation Village at Williamsburg earlier and your assigned suite is available, we will be more than happy to check you in early. If unavailable, we kindly ask that you return at the regular check-in time of 4:00 PM.
To request a later check-out time, please contact the front desk on the day of your departure. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on resort occupancy.

How old do you have to be to check in?
+The minimum age to check in is 21.

What identification and type of credit card are accepted to check in?
+A picture ID, a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express), or a $150 cash security deposit, and a confirmation/hotel voucher are required at check-in time.
A security deposit made on a major credit card will be released within 48 business hours of check-out. If using a debit card, depending on your banking institution, the hold may take between 7 to 14 business days to be released.

Are there any extra fees that are not included with a reservation?
+Yes. A non-refundable $30.00 resort fee is collected at the time of check-in (one fee per reservation). It includes WiFi, access to the fitness center and business center, DVD library, coffee/tea in the clubhouse, and use of an in-room safe. The resort fee applies to all guests, including Vacation Village Resorts Owners, RCI Exchanges, and rentals.
There is also a refundable security deposit of $150.00 placed as a hold on a credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning required in the suite. Upon check-out, that security deposit is returned to the credit card. If you use a debit card for the security deposit, it may take up to 14 business days after the hold has been released to show up on your bank statement.

How many buildings does Vacation Village at Williamsburg have?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg features 78 buildings with a total of 606 suites. Two-bedroom suites and four-bedroom lockoff suites are available. All the buildings have two floors and no elevators.

Can a specific building or view be requested?
+Yes. Call the resort at 757.253.9100 to submit any special requests (room views, floor level, building location, etc.) you may have for your upcoming stay. We accept requests as early as two weeks before the check-in date.
Accommodations are based on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority is given to Vacation Village at Williamsburg owners, followed by Exchangers, but we will make every effort to honor all special requests based on availability.

Can I upgrade from a two-bedroom to a four-bedroom suite?
+Yes. You may upgrade from a two-bedroom suite to a four-bedroom or a partial kitchen (B Suite) to a full kitchen (A Suite). Upgrades are based on availability, and fees apply. Call the resort at 757.253.9100 for more information.

Can a handicap-accessible room be requested?
+Yes. Vacation Village at Williamsburg has designated suites that meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Please advise the staff of your needs when making a reservation so we can verify availability before confirming your reservation.

Is parking free?
+Yes. Vacation Village at Williamsburg offers free parking for all owners and guests. In addition, there is overnight resort security throughout the property between the hours of 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily. You will be asked to provide your license plate number and vehicle description.

Is RV parking permitted at Vacation Village at Williamsburg?
+No. Parking of recreational vehicles/equipment is not permitted at Vacation Village at Williamsburg. Please contact the resort at 757.253.9100 for recommendations on available, approved parking.

Are there Electric Vehicle charging stations at Vacation Village at Williamsburg?
+Although there are no electric vehicle charging stations at our resort, our owners and guests can visit our sister resort, The Colonies at Williamsburg, to use their electric vehicle charging stations. The address is 5380 Olde Towne Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188, and the charging stations are located in the overflow parking lot near the tennis courts.

Is Vacation Village at Williamsburg pet-friendly?
+Yes. At Vacation Village at Williamsburg, we understand that pets are an extension of your family. We are one of the few resorts in the area that offer a limited number of pet-friendly suites near the walking areas in a particular area of the resort. A non-refundable pet fee of $125.00 (per pet) is due at check-in, and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Only non-aggressive breeds are allowed on resort premises, with a maximum of two pets. YOU MUST CALL 757.253.9100 IN ADVANCE TO RESERVE PET-FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATIONS.

Does Vacation Village at Williamsburg accept packages for guests?
+Yes. Vacation Village at Williamsburg will accept packages for our owners and guests free of charge. Packages must include the registered guest’s name, and a photo ID is required for pick-up.

Does Vacation Village at Williamsburg offer free WiFi?
+Yes. WiFi is included in the resort fee.

Is daily housekeeping available at Vacation Village at Williamsburg?
+No. Housekeeping services are not included, but if you would like to request a mid-week cleaning service at an additional charge, please contact the front desk for availability during your stay. A mid-week cleaning includes beds with fresh linens, removing trash and replacing liners, exchanging all bath and kitchen linens, and vacuuming. In addition, guests are asked to dispose of waste in several conveniently located sites around the property.
Towel or linen exchange may also be arranged for a fee. Please contact the front desk directly if you would like this service. A minimum $75.00 fine is applicable for suites left excessively unclean.

Is smoking permitted at Vacation Village at Williamsburg?
+No. Vacation Village at Williamsburg is a smoke-free resort. Smoking outside is permitted; however, Vacation Village at Williamsburg does not provide guests with designated smoking areas.

Are extra beds or cribs available for small children?
+Yes. Rollaway beds, cribs, and highchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests must request these items at check-in. Charges may apply.

Are the pools at Vacation Village at Williamsburg heated?
+Vacation Village at Williamsburg has one heated indoor swimming pool adjacent to the clubhouse and one outdoor pool (not heated) behind the clubhouse. The outdoor pool is open seasonally from May through September, weather permitting.
Poolside lounge chairs are available to our owners and guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Pool towels are available at each pool. The resort reserves the right to remove towels and personal belongings on chairs left unattended for an extended period.
For your safety as well as the safety of others, please be sure to read the pool rules and regulations located in the pool areas, near the restrooms, or on the gates leading into the pool.

What are the pool hours?
+The indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, and children’s pool are open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Adults-only swimming is from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and open swim (for all) is from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Weather permitting, the outdoor and children’s pools are open seasonally from May through September.

+Yes. There is one indoor hot tub adjacent to the indoor swimming pool.

+Yes. Vacation Village at Williamsburg has one outdoor children’s pool next to the outdoor swimming pool. It is open seasonally from May through September, weather permitting.

+Yes. Vacation Village at Williamsburg has four children’s playgrounds, and they are available at Belle Aire Court, Evelynton Court, Indian Fields Way, and Tomahund Court. They’re open daily from sunrise to sunset.

+No. Vacation Village at Williamsburg does not have a restaurant on-site; however, for your convenience, we have a sundry, snack, and souvenir shop called “The Pantry” inside the clubhouse on the first floor. It is open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Call the resort at 757.253.9100 Ext.1067 for the hours of operation. There are also a variety of restaurants in the surrounding area.

Are there barbecue grills available at Vacation Village at Williamsburg?
+Yes. Vacation Village at Williamsburg has multiple charcoal barbecue grills and picnic tables throughout the resort. Utensils are inside the suites as part of the kitchen set-up and housewares. The resort does not provide charcoal. In addition, there are gas barbecue grills on the outdoor pool deck. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

+Yes. Vacation Village at Williamsburg has a fitness center equipped with treadmills and weight training machines in the clubhouse. It’s open daily from 5:00 AM to 10:30 PM.

+Yes. A business center equipped with computers and a printer is in the clubhouse in the back lobby for your convenience. It’s open daily from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM.

How are the suites laid out at Vacation Village at Williamsburg?
+The suites at Vacation Village at Williamsburg offer our owners and guests spacious one- two- and four-bedroom floor plans designed for maximum comfort. Each suite's living room, dining room, and kitchen are integrated for entertaining and enjoyment. All suites have ceramic tile in the living areas and carpeted floors in the bedrooms.

Does Vacation Village at Williamsburg offer adjoining/connecting rooms?
+No. Vacation Village at Williamsburg offers four-bedroom suites, which are two two-bedroom suites. That means you would have a combined total of 2,400 square feet with two living rooms, two dining rooms, four bedrooms (two primary and two guest bedrooms), and four bathrooms (two in each two-bedroom suite).

How many people can each suite sleep?
+The two-bedroom suite can sleep up to six people, which includes two individuals sleeping on a queen-sized sleeper sofa. The four-bedroom suite, which is two two-bedroom suites, can accommodate up to 12 people.

Do all the rooms have a patio or balcony?
+Yes. Each suite at Vacation Village at Williamsburg has a private patio or balcony with a table and chairs.

What appliances are in the kitchen?
+A Suites feature fully-appointed kitchens equipped with a stove/oven, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator with ice maker, microwave convection oven, drip coffee maker (a starter pack of filters is provided), and toaster. B Suites feature partial kitchens, which include most of the same amenities as A Suites except for the stove/oven; instead, guests will have a built-in induction cooktop.

What type of cookware and dinnerware is in the kitchen?
+Most commonly used cookware, such as dishes, pots, and pans, are included in each suite. There is dinnerware for six in each two-bedroom suite and dinnerware for twelve in the four-bedroom suites.

What entertainment options are available in each suite?
+Each suite at Vacation Village at Williamsburg features a television in the living room and bedrooms, cable television with HBO®, a DVD player in the living room, and WiFi internet access.

Do all bedrooms have a king-size bed?
+No. Two-bedroom suites feature a king-size bed in the primary bedroom, a queen-size bed in the guest bedroom, and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room.
Most four-bedroom suites feature two king-size beds (one in each primary bedroom) and two queen-size beds (one in each guest bedroom). Some suites have two queen-size beds (one in each primary bedroom) and four twin-size beds (two in each guest bedroom). All four-bedroom suites have two queen-size sleeper sofas (one in each living room).

Is there a jetted tub or walk-in shower in the bathroom?
+All primary bathrooms feature a jetted tub, enclosed walk-in shower, and double sink vanity. The guest bathrooms have a tub/shower. In addition, all bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer.

+Yes. There is a wall-mounted hair dryer in each bathroom.

Does Vacation Village at Williamsburg provide toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, or body wash?
+Yes. Vacation Village at Williamsburg provides guests with a small starter kit in their room, which includes a sample-size shampoo, body lotion, body soap, and facial soap. However, we recommend that you bring your own toiletries.

Is there a washer and dryer in the room?
+No. Most A & B Suites at Vacation Village at Williamsburg share one washer/dryer. In most cases, the washer/dryer is usually located at the top of the stairs. The washer/dryer is in the hallway between A & B Suites in a small portion of the suites.

Is there an iron and ironing board?
+Yes. Each suite has an iron and ironing board.
